RELATIONAL DESIGN
Care Network Mapping
Through our Care Network Mapping work, we help individuals and organizations make visible the relationships of care that sustain everyday life. The process challenges the illusion of the independent individual by revealing the networks of support, care, and interdependence that make life possible. These networks may include family members, friends, communities, institutions, public services, ecological systems, and often-overlooked sources of support. Care Network Mapping approaches care as a relational and collective practice rather than an individual responsibility. By visualizing connections, dependencies, and flows of support, participants gain a deeper understanding of how care is organized, where pressures and gaps emerge, and what conditions enable people and communities to thrive. We offer flexible ways to engage with this process through a self-guided digital mapping tool and facilitated workshops for groups, organizations, and communities.

Relational Organizations
Our work supports organizations in placing care at the heart of how they operate, collaborate, and make decisions. Moving beyond models that focus exclusively on mission and outputs, we help organizations recognize the relationships, practices, and forms of support that sustain their work. Through our Care-Centered Organizations model, institutions gain a deeper understanding of their care networks, make visible the often-unrecognized work of care, and reflect on the power dynamics that shape how care is distributed and experienced. This process helps embed care more intentionally into organizational culture, governance, and everyday practice. Particular attention is given to the sustainability of people and organizations working for social change, where burnout and invisible labor often undermine long-term impact. Care is approached as a vital condition for resilient organizations, healthy communities, and lasting systems change.

Care Literacy Workshops
Through our Care Literacy Workshops, we create learning spaces that bring together care studies, care ethics, and everyday experiences of giving and receiving care. Participants are invited to explore how care shapes individual lives, communities, institutions, and societies, while examining the assumptions, norms, and power dynamics that influence how care is valued and distributed. The workshops encourage reflection on interdependence, responsibility, reciprocity, and the role of care in sustaining collective wellbeing. Through practical exercises, dialogue, and care network mapping, participants develop a deeper understanding of both the personal and systemic dimensions of care and strengthen their capacity to engage with care more consciously in their daily lives and work.

Relational Design Workshops
Our Care-Centered Design Workshops create space to rethink policies, workplaces, services, and everyday systems through the lens of care. Participants explore how care responsibilities are distributed, whose needs remain invisible, and which relationships and forms of support could be strengthened through more intentional design. The workshops encourage a deeper examination of how decisions shape experiences of care across different contexts and communities. From public policy and organizational practices to workplace culture and service design, participants develop approaches that place care at the center of both outcomes and design processes. The goal is to support the creation of systems, environments, and institutions that are more responsive, equitable, and capable of sustaining collective wellbeing.

Care-Centered Facilitation
Relationships, trust, and reciprocity form an often-unseen infrastructure that enables communities, organizations, and collaborations to thrive. Yet these relational dimensions frequently remain invisible when attention is focused primarily on outputs, decisions, and measurable results. Our Care-Centered Facilitation practice supports meetings, workshops, strategy processes, convenings, and collective learning spaces that place relationships at the center. We design environments where participants can engage not only through ideas and expertise, but also through lived experience, needs, perspectives, and uncertainty. By fostering trust, belonging, meaningful participation, and mutual learning, we help groups navigate complexity, strengthen collaboration, and create the conditions for more thoughtful and sustainable collective action.
